Control and integration layer
The control and integration layer of the VoltiGo system is built on the CZAT7 Digital Automation System is an advanced automation platform developed by ELESTER. CZAT7 comprises a complete set of microprocessor‑based electronic devices designed to perform control, automation, and protection functions in modern power‑system installations. The platform integrates hardware and software components, providing a secure, stable, and fully configurable operational environment for the system.
The implementation of CZAT7 devices is highly flexible and depends on the architecture of the facility. The selection and deployment of the devices are driven by installation requirements and application‑specific needs. The modular design of the platform allows configuration to be easily tailored to the intended use, while the broad range of measurement modules and transducers enables the execution of diverse tasks and more complex operational scenarios.
CZAT7 supports a wide range of devices and communication protocols used in the power and industrial sectors, enabling the VoltiGo system to interface with inverters, meters, protection relays, EMS/BMS platforms from various manufacturers, as well as IT and OT infrastructure. This communication flexibility allows the system to be deployed in environments with diverse technical and communication architectures.
CZAT7 controllers are a certified solution developed by ELESTER’s engineering experts. Their development follows a complete manufacturing lifecycle that includes hardware design, fabrication, firmware development and comprehensive testing. This approach ensures a high level of security, full quality control and the ability to rapidly adapt functionality to user requirements. It is important to note that the CZAT7 automation platform is widely deployed in power system environments, including national critical infrastructure, and is used in applications operated by PGE.
